KAU is a union of aikido dojos in Korea.
We follow the goals and vision of the Aikikai,
and work in solidarity and cooperation
with domestic and international aikido groups.
Aikido is a Japanese Martial Art created during the 1920s
by Morihei Ueshiba(1883~1969),
an expert who reached the highest level of mastery in the classical Japanese Martial Arts.
YOON Nak-joon (4th Dan) is the Dojocho of Aikido Ansan dojo and serves as the President of KAU and SUNG Ju-hwan (5th Dan) is the Dojocho of Aikido Samsungdang and serves as the Vice President and Technical Director of KAU.
